(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); First off this is my first guide so sorry if its not very good. =P

I am going to cover a small list of ways that people are able to get free in app purchases on they're iDevices. Although I know many of you already know about a few of these- I just want to have them in here for completeness

The first couple I am going to show you need to have your iDevice jailbroken.

iAP Cracker
So this is far my favourite way of getting free app DLC. It is my favourite just because of how simple it is and because of easily available toggle switches for those times where you want to actually support the developers.

First step with this method is to add the source 'https://cydia.xsellize.com/'
Next search for and install iAP Cracker
Then when you go into the app of your choice just click purchase. A little spinning wheel will come up and a moment later you will have access to whatever you tried to purchase.

iAP Free
This is a very similar tweak to the previous one with the differences being minimal. First off this one will work on a few more purchases than the other because it works slightly different but it also lacks the same toggle switch in your SBsettings and takes up a little bit more of our precious resources such as RAM.
The installation is the same, just search for the different name.

In-AppStore (Requires servers to be working. Currently they are off because of no donations 17/11/2012)
This is a lesser known one but works for the most applications. With this application it can actually unlock some in-app purchases that need server side response.
First off you need to add the source 'https://system.in-appstore.com/repo/'
And install the package that is inside. That's all. It works pretty much the same as the others from the end user point of view except it works on more applications. This is the one I currently use although because it needs a server to spoof the appstore, the service sometimes goes down from lack of funding.

Next are a few that you can do even if you don't have a jailbroken device.

In-AppStore NON JAILBREAK (Requires servers to be working. Currently they are off because of no donations 17/11/2012)
This is quite a break through for anybody too lazy or other have other reasons not to jailbreak their device. Although it only works through wifi networks and not your cellular network.

First step is to sign out of your apple ID. You can do this either by going into the app store, bottom of the page, clicking your account and logging out. OR you can go Settings->Store->Tap on your appleid->Sign Out

Next you need to go to this webpage in safari on your device 'https://system.in-appstore.com/' and install the two certificates in order

Then you have to go to your Wi-Fi settings and tap the arrow to the right of the network you are on. Remove everything from the DNS field and set it to the IP address: 91.224.160.136

Last but not least, go to the app that you want to get free stuff from and try to purchase anything. When you get a popup asking you to log in enter random information and there you go!.

Manually adding DLC via PC
This one I won't go into too much just because its slightly different for every application that you wish to try. But if you are interested you are welcome to google around for it. Basically you open your device in a program such as i-Funbox and you have to place the content into its respected place. I may go deeper into this at a future time but for now google is your friend since you want to do everything the hard way.

I hope that this guide helps people. None of these options will work on every purchase but should help with most things you attempt. I can personally confirm every way to work except for the Jailbreak free In-appstore method to which I have never tried but should work from what I've heard.

Enjoy!

No, the servers used to make it work where taken down by Apple. :( I recommend you use iAP Cracker if you're jailbroken.

iPhone 4? You must login or register to view this content.

They didn't sell screens for any other iDevice so you would have to do a search. :p

Yes is does work! Although the website that does it needs donations to run the servers. Since no one has donated they took the servers down. I'll make sure to edit the first post to mention this.

That is true but since then the servers were revived and were up for awhile. The servers are now down due to lack of funding though.
