AT&T is now offering refurbished iPhone 5 devices at a $100 discount from their usual price. The new offer was noted by 9to5Mac.
Customers are still required to sign up for a 2 year contract, as with the regular iPhone 5.
AT&T appears to be offering all permutations of color and size. The discount across the board for the refurbished units is $100 from the up front cost.

I would rather get it new. I don't like buying refurbished things.

Why you had a bad experience with refurbished things? I'm sure it works fine probably just some scratches or something.

Yes I have had a bad time with multiple refurbished things I got as replacements. Including phones, Xbox, Computer, and tvs. Plus I like to know that the item I purchased is in pristine condition. There's a reason why it's a $100 off. Also not refurbished usually means the item was sent back do to a problem and then they fixed it for re sale sometimes the problems come back.

I have two refurbished PS3's and both work wonderful. Just some FYI. Refurbished phones almost have zero scratches if not any. It's usually ALL replaced. Minor cosmetic damage and software issues.
