Wordament is the first iPhone game that allows players to earn Xbox LIVE achievements, a feature which was previously reserved for Microsoft's Windows Phone.



Wordament sees players compete to find the most words in two minutes on a 4x4 grid. It boasts cross-platform gameplay support, leaderboards, friend lists and Xbox LIVE achievements. Statistics are tracked and can be compared against friends. Achievement hunters will be pleased to learn that Wordament features a total of 50 gamerpoints from 10 unique achievements.

It's a promising sign that Xbox LIVE achievements may become standardized on Microsoft's iPhone games. The feature allows Xbox gamers to earn some extra gamerpoints in a casual and fun puzzle game; something that they will gladly accept.
