there might be one for a4 and lower devices because the limerain exploit is the only exploit that works now

The iPod touch 4th gen has a tethered jailbreak using the latest version of redsn0w. It is not hassle if you actually charge it every night, I do this with my 3GS. An untethered will be out after the release of iOS 6.1, probably a month or maybe 2 after as one dev has a 6.0.2 untethered working right now and they are waiting for 6.1 to work on it on there and release.
