The method was discovered by TechRax on YouTube, whose video you can watch below with a visual explanation on how to effectively cheat without having to even jailbreak your iPhone.

To do so, you’ll need to download DiskAid and the following save file. Simply drag the file’s content (“gamedata.txt” into the Temple Run 2 folder on DiskAid and you’ll have an infinite amount of gold coins and gems to spend on items.
