Apple announces 128GB iPad with Retina display, available Feb. 5 for $799 For Wi-Fi/ $929 For LTE
From Phil Schiller.. “With more than 120 million iPads sold, it’s clear that customers around the world love their iPads, and everyday they are finding more great reasons to work, learn and play on their iPads rather than their old PCs,” said Philip Schiller, Apple’s senior vice president of Worldwide Marketing. “With twice the storage capacity and an unparalleled selection of over 300,000 native iPad apps, enterprises, educators and artists have even more reasons to use iPad for all their business and personal needs.”

Imo 128GB is wayyyy to much for me but i could see some people who would need it.
But yea It comes with iOS 6.1 that launched yesterday, So 128GB iPad + 6.1 JB + A6X chip..

Tablets are going to override the market eventually, but shit, $1000 for an iPad, this crazy. For $70 more you can purchase the 64gb Macbook air, this release is definitely controversial

If you think a 128GB iPad is a rip off.. Have a look at the MS Surface Pro.. $900 for a 64GB but you only get 23GB usable space. or i think its $900 for the 123GB were you ony get 83GB of usable space.
