before i start, This is my tut not a C&P mmmk

Ok seeing as this sec as got active over the past day due to the iOS JB, I Will show you have to install gameboy advance ROMs

Theres a couple of ways to get them onto your device but yea, I will show you how to with a program called Diskaid

1. make sure you have the xsellize repo added via cydia ( cydia.xsellixe.com )
2. Search Cydia for gba.emu and D/L it. it will install an icon on your device ( GBA.emu
3. Download a program called Diskaid ( You must login or register to view this content. )
4. Connect your iDevice to your PC/Mac via USB and close iTunes if it pops up.
5. Open Diskaid and on the side menu click on Storage You must login or register to view this content.
Once you click on storage you will get this, You must login or register to view this content. ( Might look different on Windows, Im not 100% Sure )

6. Click on Root - Then find a folder called var and click on that, Then once in the Var folder go into the mobile folder, Once in the mobile folder go into the media folder

So thats Root - Var - Mobile - Media

So it looks like this You must login or register to view this content.

In the Media folder make a new folder called ROMS,

Now its time to D/L some ROMS for the tut i will be D/l Pokemon.

This site is what i use for my ROMS ( You must login or register to view this content. )

Just find a game you want and D/l it, It will be a .zip. for Mac .rar for Windows folder

ok now just drag and drop the .zip/rar folder into the ROMS folder you made in Diskaid You must login or register to view this content.

and now your done, You can close diskaid now.

Go on your iDevice and open the GBA.emu app,

it should bring up a menu with load game, Recent games, ect ect You must login or register to view this content.

press load game and you will need to find where you installed it, Root - Var - Mobile - Media, ( It will prob already be at the media part so just find the ROMS folder, You must login or register to view this content.

Then you will see the ROM you installed, You must login or register to view this content.

Click on it and Walla you now well in this tut have Pokemon on your iDevice :^^:

You must login or register to view this content.

Useful for anyone who didn't know, I've known for a while as for a little I was playing a lot of the pokemong GBA hacks when on car journeys or bored.

I prefer GPSPhone, it has been the best emulator for me but does require 2 packages to be installed. Both are available on xSellize though

Can’t trickshot me!
You could do everything on the device itself, no need for a computer. All that's needed is iFile and Safari Download Manager.

Cool tutorial Smile
You can also get the ROMS from cydia itself, usually they have the "best of" packs of popular games :nerd:

PSX ROMS are another must have , if your device can run them. Nothing beats Crash Bandicoot on an iPad :megusta:
