Well-known iOS hacker and (former?) Chronic Dev Team member p0sixninja says that he has discovered enough exploits in iOS 6 to build a new jailbreak. The previous one, as most of you know, was recently shut down by Apple in iOS 6.1.3... But it appears that p0sixninja has discovered some vulnerabilities that were not patched by the company’s security team in the latest iOS update,

it’s worth mentioning that p0sixninja hasn’t demonstrated that he has a working jailbreak yet. And if he has one, there’s no telling when or if he will release it. iOS 6.1.3 just came out, and the next expected big release is iOS 7, which is still several months away.

Greatness
These will be saved for iOS 7. It is a complete waste to use it on 6.1.3 to either create a jailbreak or help start creating one when users have had a lot of time to not update to it while we had 6.0-6.1.2. For any new device owners they will sadly be waiting or at least they should do, it would be pointless for P0sixNinja to waste these on such a tiny update.

Really? That's odd. I restored a 6.1.2 ipod touch 4th gen to 6.1.3 and then downgaded (but it was to 5.1.1). Are you saying you can only downgrade to 6.1.2 or that the 6.1.2 would have to be tethered?

yea i went from 6.1.3 to 6.1.2, and the JB was tethered but even after installing that tethered to untethered thing in cydia still fails and its stuck in tethered so i gave up and just went back to 6.1.3 JB that and installed the semi untethered thing

That's odd? I have no idea how that works out. If you have the blobs go to 5.0.1 or 5.1.1, it's what I did. I bought a cracked 4th gen iPod touch from a mate for £25 (perfectly usable and 100% working just a chunk of the corner is missing) it was on 6.1.2 and I had it jailbroken & working fine, went to install siri and it got stuck on the apple logo like some siri installations do, turns out I had no 6.X blobs but luckily had 5.1.1 blobs, restored to that using redsn0w and got a perfect jailbreak again, only iOS 6 thing I missed was the coloured status bar which the tweak ColorStatus fixed for me.
