So what do you think will be the S feature this year ?

I Know this wont happen but its in my mind that the S this year will stand for screen.. i think Apple will set a new standard for a screens PPI Just like they did back in 2010 with the retina display, I think the highest on a phone atm is 440 PPI i think Apple will have like 500 PPI on the 5S, But yea i know that wont happen

After reading this the word System came into my mind. Jony Ive (I think it's him) said that in iOS 7 they want to change the User Interface. The S may stand for System, as in new system, or a new system change.

Also with more people liking Android (because it's of it's customization and other things), Apple may want to change it's iOS or upgrade it to bring the people back, or attract new phone buyers.

It probably won't even be that major except for it being thinner and a few tweaks. The only time I see a major update would be from say a 5 to a 6, not a 5 to a 5s.

But even then, the 4S to 5 didn't do much, just made the phone bigger and thinner.

At the way Apple shares dropped after the iPhone 5 release, I can't see them releasing an iPhone this year unless it has something big included in it.

"S" is for "stealing"....since they didn't change "nothing" in iPhone since the first... they need to renew the look and make it way better, cuz' Samsung is starting to get way ahead.

The S doesn't stand for Speed or Siri, the S is a class rating. S is the top score/ranking/class that means that the iPhone xS is a better version or a better quality of the 'X' iPhone.

An that's why they don't change the design of the iPhone when it's a S version.

I highly doubt they would ever skip a step to the 6 while ignoring on the 5s considering how money-hungry they are.

Actually, the 4s to the 5 was actually a big improvement. One of the major ones would be that they implemented an A6 processor on the iPhone 5, thus making it more faster than the 4s.

According to twitter, the engineers who worked on iOS 7 have those screen protectors which limits views. This is the first time they've ever done this, because they said "iOS 7 is a major overhaul."
