This is correct, they are supposed to b making 'budget' versions of the iPhone and iPad etc, the price cut however have already taken place as usual before the latest model of the iPhone in September, if there will be further price cuts you will find that the products will drop in price for a month or so then go back and drop again to the original fallen price. This is the norm for apple products to be honest and usually always take place before the latest apple product (mainly o
