(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I'v heard its impossible but hear me out. Ok my ipod otuch doesnt react to hodling ether the on or home button. When i plug my ipod into my pc , iTunes recognises it and everytime i try and restore , it comes up with an error. The first time i used my ipod , i didnt sync my ipod the first time i used it. Straight away i used blackra1n and it said my ipod would take some time to reboot. My ipod then didnt reboot and hasnt be able to view anything on the screen.

I'm somewhat confused... Jailbreak it with redsn0w maybe. All you have to do with that is connect it, and put into DFU mode, and it gives you step by steps in the program.

it is impossible as "bricked" implies completely out cold, like nothing recognises it, nothing works, it doesn't turn on at all and the computer doesn't even recognise it at all. But first, go onto "ipod touch fans" website as they are the people that can definately help you.
My mate just had this happen to you and the way i got him out was by putting into DFU mode(hold home and power button together then release one of them until a screen with the apple on it shows up) again go onto ipod touch fans site for proper instructions. When my ipod went completely corrupt what i did was put it into dfu mode, plug into computer, wait until itunes recognises an ipod or something like that( it doesn't have to fully recognise it, only that a component has been plugged into the computer) then hold shift and click the restore button. When the option comes up to choose a file to restore it from, you can either find the original 3.0 file or watever make of ipod you have and restore it using that. IF YOU CAN'T FIND THAT FILE, then go onto the interenet and search for ipod touch 3.0 firmware until you find someone with a file you can dowload, then use that to restore it with.
again this will sound confusing so it would help if you really went onto ipod touch fans, they know everything...

I once bricked mine i think, jailbreak went wrong cause my friends laptop died while i was doing it. And it was stuck at a black screen with writing but wouldn't scroll. I think i ended up holding the home button while plugging it up to the computer or something like and it let me restore it. But i'm pretty sure you can't brick it for good. Cause mine froze right in the middle of jailbreaking and now it works like normal.
