Recently Apple released the iOS 7.1.1 for iPhone and iPad. The change log was quite short, and mentioned just a few enhancements and improvements.

However, it seems it brings more than what was mentioned in the change log, specifically the battery life. According to a new report, the new iOS 7.1.1 improves the battery life of iPhone, according to ZDNet’s Adrian Kingsley-Hughes.

The author has been managing the battery life on his iPhone 5 since iOS 6. He says the iPhone 6 came down to 74 percent from a full charge after six hours of usage. However, after the launch of iOS 7, he saw a negative impact on the device’s battery, but it came back to normal after a few recharges.

However, the next iOS 7.1 update had a totally negative impact on the battery, with the level dropping to 48 percent after six hours of usage. We know the daily usage can vary, but on a regular basis, you can get an estimate of how long your battery lasts during the day.

And, then came iOS 7.1.1 last week, which improved the battery life of his iPhone significantly. During the same average use of six hours, the battery life was down to 76 percent from 100 percent, which is way better since the launch of iOS 7.

Did you notice any battery improvement after upgrading to iOS 7.1.1?
