Let's start off with the basic knowledge, every phone and eletronic device has certain stuff load up on boat to keep the operating system running, on any iDevice these are called daemons. There is quite a few that load up and some are not necessary and other some people don't use can disable some people do its all up to you. The other hand is tweaks you install that take up space let alone using location services in the background as well. Now lets get started.

To start off theres not one magical tweak that saves your battery up to twice as long battery life. No. Now thats out of the way start off by downloading a tweak called iCleaner, simply go to the plus at the bottom and go into daemons tab. Disable the ones you do not use and save battery life on boot! Once restarted run the cleaning to free up space on your phone. As far as other tweaks disables the ones you do not need, or find necessary. Tweaks running in the backround can kill up energy that could be saved in a important moment.

Location Services, You don't need to disable them that's just a waist, but turning off Facebook and messenger can save your battery due to it always running in the backround, weather reports can do that to. So then again disable what you don't use.

Siri: If you don't use then disable her she hogs the battery that dirty girl.

brightness: auto brightness is a waist of battery to just keep it half way and your good

mail: set mail to fetch cause you don't want to waist your battery checking for mail you do not have.

Backround refresh: Turn off for always fetching notifications and is useless unless you like weather updates constant

Music: Music equalizer is a big battery drainer turn off,

Any more tips will be updated frequent thank you and have a great day

Don't bother with launch daemons. It has been argued multiple times that removing them can actually make your phone worse off. In the boot process the phone looks for those daemons and when they aren't there the phone still has to look for them, realize they aren't there move to the next one. When you remove them, its not the same as actually disabling them. If there was an actual disable option then there wouldn't be any issues. The only good use of removing a launch daemon is for the purpose of removing a feature that is causing problems on your phone. My last phone had an issue where it always thought it was plugged into a dock so i had to remove the launch daemon that starts up that process, it fixed my problem but then again i couldn't use a dock if i wanted to.

There are a couple visual tweaks that can increase the speed of system animations/actions. I'm sure they've already been spoken of, but I'll mention them in case somebody doesn't know and finds it interesting.

Note: These tweaks require a jailbroken device, obtain through Cydia.

1) HiddenSettings7 (BigBoss) - Control Center (slide up) > Springboard Settings > Scroll to bottom, Animation Overrides > Decrease Slow Factor to increase animation speed

You can also mess with mass, stiffness, and damping factors to tweak it exactly to your liking.

This method of speeding up animations is the most efficient and stable because HiddenSettings7 utilizes the internal controls that actually exist in ios 7, but are just inaccessible to modify to the non-rooted user.

2) FakeClockUp (insanelyi) - There's a lot of tweaks similar to this that does the same function. I recommend using the above method instead of this.

Configure in settings.
