Jailbreak your iDevice, it's going to be worth it and I would just get DisplayRecorder nothing else especially since DisplayRecorder is recommended/Featured from the Cydia Store itself.

The jailbreak is pretty easy just plug your phone in and follow the on screen directions.

my ipad is jailbroken with display recorder but mu iphone is not an i use irec from emu4ios its i think better then display recorder

Oh I wouldn't know, I would just usually go with what the Developers like or prefer since well they know more about jailbreaking and Cydia.

Display recorder for me actually works perfect it had no lag whatsoever and the recorded files don't take up much space at all.
