TaiG has finally uploaded the deb file for the updated UnTether containing the kernal patch fixing Cydia Substrate, and a Chinese 2.1 version of their utility bundled with the updated UnTether! This guide will show you how to install the updated UnTether .deb file using iFunBox, TaiG AFC2 (apt.taig.com), and iFile (repo.biteyourapple.net).

Step 1: Download the .deb file from here: You must login or register to view this content.
Step 2: Assuming you already have TaiG AFC2, and iFile installed on your iDevice & iFunBox on your PC. Drag the .deb into your root directory of your iDevice from your PC via iFunBox.
Step 3: Open iFile, navigate to your device's root (/) directory, click on taiguntether83x.deb and Install it.
Step 4: REBOOT your iDevice (DO NOT RESPRING, REBOOT!)!

Congratulations, you have successfully updated the TaiG UnTether fixing Cydia Substrate!

This is good news for me, thanks for pointing this out.
I confirm that this method works.
Also there's an easier method which only takes 2-3 minutes and doesn't require PC.
You can just visit the .deb page which is " You must login or register to view this content. " in Safari while having iFile installed, of course, and choose "Open in iFile"
Once opened, a menu should pop up with few other options, choose "Installer"
Now you should see that the .deb file is installing, just give it a bit until it finishes and then Reboot your iDevice.

This was a tutorial put out before the updated untether was officially released

The updated untether was not officially released. Yet. Be wary of using it.

I'm aware, I've done my fair amount of picking through the untether and it does seem to contain the 2 byte kernel patch at CS_RESTRICT to fix the issue with Cydia Substrate. This was more a tutorial for those who wish to develop on their device as this Untether is for internal testing as stated by TaiG in a statement regarding the leaked UnTehter update
