Here is the eaisest method to jailbreak today.

1. Download Blackra1n at You must login or register to view this content.(LINK)
2. Make shure you download the one with the windows icon if you are running windows.
3. When you download it plug in your iPod/iPhone.
4. Make shure ipod/iphone is on the 3.1.2 firmware if not update it.
5. Open up blackra1n.
6. Press "make it ra1n"
7. Just wait and your going to see a picture of a dude with iphones around him.
8. When your ipod/iphone reboots go find the ''blackra1n'' app.
click it and press on "Cydia or Rock".
9. Press download and your down.

good post and i recommended useing rock it is 10x faster and some apps make you rebot your ipod(witch you cant) so get sb settengs to aviod that problem

Yea i knew it was but i just use cydia because most of the people ues it too!

you have to download the app from cydia called installous.

first you have to add this source.

Go to cydia<Manage<sources<Edit<Add source<Search<Installous<ownload<open installous<If it ask for password it is Cavern<Search the app you want then you download it the install it.

If he had a 3g ipod touch or 3gs iphone he would have had his screen where it said it needs to be connected to itunes.
