Whenever I tried it that way some of the emblems did that when you tried to edit them. If you have a JB Ps3 then you could possibly try to do it that way... I think its something like changing your name to theirs, signing out, signing back in while spamming the change name option to theirs, and then just open and save them before changing back to your account.

It just messes up some times, you have to keep trying that goes for every glitch... it's not always going to work as planned.
