Either, A. Your internet is slow or B. Your Eboot/forcehost is bad and it is preventing you from getting in a lobby. If this is the case when you go to find a match no map selection will appear and it will continue to 'Search for games.'

It has nothing to do with a "bad forcehost" or eboots the slower your connection is the slower you get lobbies also NAT Type is a big factor Open is ideal and is the best way to get into lobbies Moderate or Strict you most likely wont get any players

i recommend Making a static ip for your ps3 to make the connection to your ps3 a bit faster
