bro im having the same troubles. i have no idea what CCAPI and TMAPI are and i dont know how to use the hack. i hope they can make a tutorial on youtube.

OK so I was gonna mock you guys and I don't know if you are serious but. Here we go.
You need a Jailbroken Console to use this MOD it is not a HACK btw... A jailbroken console is a console that has been modded via its firmware to allow it to perform these Modification with the write packages.
you cannot jailbreak a console over version 3.55, the current firmware for the PS3 is 4.55 (we are a few years down the road). To downgrade a normal PS3 you would need to use an E3 FLASHER. you can look into these elsewhere. CEX AND DEX or CCAPI(CEX) and TMAPI(DEX) are 2 types of jailbroken console. CEX is 'retail' this is what your console it if you jailbreak it and leave it at that. DEX is a Development console, DEX brings many advantages to this era of modding and brings more modifications to the console itself, you can look into this elsewhere also. there are 2 different ways to connect the tool via either DEX or CEX thats why there are these options. to use this on a CEX jailbroken console you would need the Control Console API.PKG file installed on your PS3 (Which you need a jail break for) and for DEX you would need to be hooked up with 2 ethernet cables and have Target Manager and a DEBUG EBOOT on your game (again JB needed).
For a more in depth series on the situation, someone called MzBomb3rzZ is making a series of videos all about you need to know, I believe he is currently on episode 12 as the post goes live.
