You may need to edit your param.sfo![/U][/COLOR]
If you do its really easy:
1) Download the tool You must login or register to view this content. (Note you may get an error when loading the application, to fix this simply download this file You must login or register to view this content.
2) In the folder you've just downloaded, click on 'PARAM_SFO_EDITOR.exe'.
3) Get your param.sfo either from a default package or by getting from ftp and open it up in the application.
4) Change the 'PS3 System' to 3.55 or whatever firmware you are on and save. (Note nothing else needs to be changed so leave the rest alone!)
5) Thats it now put it on your ps3.

If your getting black screens try this:[/U][/COLOR]
This was from black ops and im sure black ops 2 will follow the same format so:
- patch the eboot.bin, param.sfo (They are above) then goto
/dev_hdd0/mms/db/ and find a file called metadata_db_hdd and search 4.21 or whatever firmware the game has been configured to and change to 3.55 or below, after this make sure you reboot otherwise you will get errors.

From chappo: People on Rebug 4.21 Install 1.02 patch. You can have it external. Go into Rebug toolbox and make system mode normal not Rebug. Go into mM and do select x and play. Don't use Hermes just use standard.

why can't I play bo2? I can start it and everything. I freezes when I try to select muliplayer, zombies. It did this on both rogero 4.30 and rebug 4.21 cfw. Help?

you dont need to use fixes for 4.20 above. the one above is a fix for rogero i think, unsure why thats different but i just found the source and did nothing else.

Game freezes when i'm signed into PSN. Tested the game on 4.30 Rogero and 4.21 rex. Same issue with both.

check the latest update on the thread for rebug users and if your on 4.30 no fix is needed, no fix is needed for 4.20+ but people are still having problems on 4.21

But that method for rebug users doesn't allow us to go online since the spoof is gone.

I got it a different way. Just hit "set default" on whatever one you want, than quit the game and restart it. Then boom you are in it

well thats just the way it is ATM, just wait until theres a fix.

Just to clarify i'm able to play everything fine when i'm NOT signed into PSN. If I am signed in and boot the game my PS3 locks up and i have to pull the plug.

then why am i having problems ? Am on cfw rogero 4.30 and the game keeps making my ps3 freeze (black screen)
