I really dont think this is a ban, according to the COD website psn servers are down for maintenence and black ops 2 servers may not work properly, or at least thats whats on the site.
Its also posted on playstion website to about maintenence for november 11th and 12th

I don't think that is the case. I created a dummy account and used my old account to play multiplayer. Both could go into the multiplayer screen where you find a game. After finding a match and playing it, it automatically kicks you out saying the server is not available. Then I kept trying to go into the multiplayer but keeps saying the server are down. Both accounts did the same thing.

Damn if its a ban then im pissed, i got the official game disc and i got banned for what? il just take the game back and say it doesnt work and get a different game, fuck treyarch and black ops 2. i didnt buy the game early for nothing, im getting my money back!!

Activision announced they will not be banning anyone who plays Black ops 2 early but yet people are having problems. It's weird.. So you bought the game and you got the same error message?

Yup same error message. so was the tech support i talked to full of shit then? they said i was banned for playing the game early and not being a verified tester or dev, he said it was considered cheating.
