That one is just saying you can have a yellow clan tag if you had gold in MW3, this glitch is so you can put anything in and it will be yellow.

Hey quick question on this. The clan I'm in had the yellow clan tags in MW3 but we had a symbol in it and so in BO2 it's not exactly the same. So my question is if we change the clan tag on the MW3 elite to something else will it still be yellow transfering to BO2, then we can use this to change it to anything we would like?

yeah, but you have to change it on ELite, if it has some kind of symbol it wont work on BO2,

Yup, you find a friends clan/any clan and ask to join, or sometimes you can apply.
