2.You make a party in zombies with both your controllers on, like if your playing split screen
3.you invite your friend to your party.
4.make sure when he joins he has his split screen connected as well
5.now your both in a party with your split screen so it should be 4
6.Start a online match and as soon as it said,s match begins in 2 or 1 you both back out your second controller and it should start with just you and your friend no split screen.
7.please hit the thank button for this little glitch or trick i haven't seen it posted.

WHAT!? I'm so confused, lol! Why can't you just play 2 people online without doing all this!?

Because you cant just play 2 players online you could only play a custom match or you have to make people back out from a online lobby so u could play 2 players

When you're in a party of 2 including yourself and try to find a game, the match simply wont start without finding a 3rd or even a 4th player.

Doing this 'trick' prevents other people in public to join your game because they wont have time to join your game when the countdown is around 1 second which is when you sign out of the 2nd controllers.

If you play custom game it don't go to leaderboads. Me and 2 mates played 4 games got very high only to find they don't go to leaderboads

me and my friend have been doing this since the game came out! i thought this was common knowledge

Custom games on zombies dont count toward your leaderboard. Because it has the settings you can change. So even if you dont change anything in custom game and play 2 player zombies, it wont go on the leaderboard. That's why he wanted to do this. EASY WAY: You need 4 controllers in total, for you and your friend. But you only need 1 headset. You can ask the players to go away. Lol
