1 . join free for all in public games .
2. play untill you get host somehow.( i just kept leaving and going back )
3 .play as usual
4. when you feel like you have enough kills or if someone is winning ect turn on the lag switch
5. wait 4-10 seconds and turn off
6 . it will have every one but you disconnect.
7. then you just wait 20 seconds for the forfit.( some peope join but the game stil ends )
8 you win.
9. now that you are host ( repeat 4-

Yh I do this sometimes but its quite boring to be honest.

indeed it is boring. i only figured it out today. thought it was cool. but i rather actually play considering i win 90% of ffa games. but it is nice for some people to get there win ratio up or troll someone.

this is the only thing ive noticed ive been able to do with the switch . idk what else to do with it .

I tried this earlier when I was host and when I turned the lag switch off it migrated hosts and kicked me. Did I not hold the switch long enough or did I do it too long? Or is there something wrong with my set up? (Switch--Router--PS3)

Also after I did it I didn't get host in any matches afterwards, when I normally get host almost every game.

Please provide some feedback

Why do you have your ps3 connected to your router, and then your router connected to your switch? that is pointless

I'm pretty sure that is how it is supposed to be set up bro. If you have ---Router---Switch---PS3 then you just get the error saying an Ethernet cord is unplugged and get instantly disconnected. With my current set up I can lag it in game and make people freeze in place and kill them but when I try to do as the OP stated, I do not end up with success. I simply hit the switch for like 6 seconds and the lobby then migrates away and I get kicked.

Edit: I double checked and I did indeed cut the correct wire and I do have it set up in a semi correct manner.

It appears that I either have a timing issue or it was fixed.

your setup is for frezzing people because you have it set to do that mine is not. i dont freeze people. it goes main router-other router-switch-ps3. idk what else could be different . it only works as host on ffa. if your not host you will be kicked. idk the way my switch is . if i turn it on. people do not freeze but it does get pretty laggy btw my switch itself is a small toggle on off switch from a rc car not a light switch. some times. when you use this switch for the first time in a while you do get ethernet cord dissconnected. but after that is should start working , just test in xmb.

Thanks for the reply, I guess I will try putting it as router---switch---ps3 and see if I can have any luck with not getting dced. It might be something to due with you using an rc switch though. Anyways I will tinker around with it a little bit and see if I can mimic what you do.
