Today I would like to bring the CTF xp glitch to Black Ops 2. If you don't know what I mean, basically you can just stand on the flag and get rapid points every second. I will provide a video at the end of the post.

Firstly, read my thread You must login or register to view this content. Once you are confident in getting host of a lobby, go to COD TV and search the custom games for a CTF glitch save. People have already made the game save in hope of the custom game glitch coming back

The next step is plain and simple, save the custom game in your fileshare, get host and load the save and boom! (you can load the save because the game thinks you're in a custom game lobby)

Now, although this seems really easy and straight forwards... it's not. You don't really want any killing going on, so you don't want to add bots. For the same reason, you don't want randoms in the lobby so you would need a ton of friends to join... which is what makes it difficult.

The game will start with 6 people in the pre-game lobby, the pre-game lobby can take 12 people (sometimes more) and the game itself takes 18 players, so unless you can fill the whole game up there's a good chance a random noob or two will drop into your game.

The players are split into 6 teams, only 1 team can do the flag glitch (ISA I think), basically both flags can be captured.. you grab yours and run to the other and just stand there getting 150 points over and over rapidly.. probably like 300 - 600 per second.

Be advised, I do not know the xp limit, the score limit is 30,000 so I would aim to go for around 15,000 score to be safe. That would take a matter of a couple of mins.

As I said, you need loads of friends, but, this particular game type bugs out a lot and sometimes you can't get the people in so just have a play around. Also you and your friends will need to take turns as not everyone can do the flag glitch.

On the flip side, each team has one spawn area and spawn trapping is very easy :troll:

So yeah, try it out and give some feedback. But just know it's not as easy as it sounds to run a lobby of this, but if you can do it you will get tons of xp very fast. I will try to keep this thread updated as I find out more information.

Soldier, does the custom xp glitch still work as of today ? 6-29-13

It doesn't seem to work after the 1.12 update. I tried to host the game and entered but when going to the flag it only gives me 200 (Double XP).
Anyone to confirm if it works?

Really amazing.... let me make the hard part in this thread turned to be the easiest part you dont need to add friends to fill up the lobby.

simply once your in the custom game main screen press SQUARE to open up the party privacy and set party privacy to CLOSED

max players to what ever you want. or you can leave the privacy opened and set max players to any number you want

I've tried to do this before but it never works for me, some people have said to me before that it works so I don't understand.
