I Had Tried Many Things Before Downgrading To 3.55 To Change My Mac Address And Nothing Worked So Finally i Said Fuck It And Did It And It Worked

How To Do This

Downgrade To 3.55 And Install This CFW -- You must login or register to view this content.
(If You Would Rather Download From Google I Understand Just Google 3.55 other os++ )

And Download This Pkg You must login or register to view this content.

Now Install That CFW And That Pkg The Run The Pkg And It Will Dump Your Original Mac Adress Make Another Copy Of That Mac Adress File (Copy And Paste) Then Open It With A Hex Editor And Change It To Anything (Doesnt Have To Be A Real Mac Address) But Has To Be The Same Bytes Then After You Have Changed It To Whatever You Want, Rename The File File To mac.bin And Put It On Your Usb, Then Start The Pkg Again And It Should Change Your Mac Address
Then Just Update Back To 4.21 And Enjoy Bo2 Modding Again

Update: Been Playing Online For About 12 Hours Modding And Even Got Console Banned (From PSN Because I Was Using A Public Id, But Still Havent Got Account Banned, Im On A New Console Id Now)

Dont hate saying this doesnt work, They Only Ban Mac Address After They Have Banned You Plenty Of Time. Jarniboi has done this, also Tustin can confirm this works

so it most be console id ban?

get a new console id then change it and then come back and tell me that they ban the console id

you loading a "pirate" copy from multiman or playing from a disc? I'm curious to know because ive been told it was my file stem like the GAMES or GAMEZ folder being accessed from blops 2 was what got me banned:confused: (I got a blops 2 ban and a console ban both perma :worried

You can only "Jailbreak" if you are on 3.55 or lower (by installing geohot or kmeaw CFW ofver the OFW 3.55)
I could help you JB your PS3 if you can get or have the following items:

1) either a: PS3 FAT that has a NOR chip made AFTER 10/2007 which are models CECHH - CECHQ
or a PS3 SLIM made BEFORE 12/2010 which are models CECH-20..A - CECH-250.B

2) for 3.56 FW + you'll need a hardware flasher. for NOR models i recommend an e3-flasher. (< Item 2)

3)item 3 is a 2 - 4 GB Micro SD Card

4) a "regular" philips (or star) screwdriver and a T8 security screwdriver (If you still want help you can Pm me, there's plenty of guides out there)

PS: SuperSlims (newest ps3's) can NOT be jailbroken even through Downgrading - Happy JBing

this post is very misleading... sure if you hav been mac adress banned this will fix that this will not stop you getting account or console banned... majority of times itll b your cid that gets banned .. and maybe after alot of console bans they will ban ur mac adress... whilst i had cfw i had over cids banned and i never changed mac address once.. this is pretty much a tutorial on changing ur mac address nothing to do with fixing acc bans etc..even if u change ur mac address its just like spoofing cid it willnget banned again eventualy...u should also giv credit were its due.

this is not instant ban - the way i fix is either do a game region change + the DLC or delete the account u got ur console banned with and delete all of B02 game data then re-install everything on a new psn account and any DLC u had installed b4 and u should be good 2 go....

but thats the thing i used many different console id's and many new accounts and each time i got on the game it said they were banned, they were all brand new accounts and brand new ids, after i changed my mac address i got on the same account as before and same id and it worked
