So here's a simple fix....just use normal FORCE HOST lol (even if i'm not modding)
PS. I also set my search preferences to ANY so I get a full lobby quicker....also invite the people you wanna play with before you go searching for a lobby
Its not the best fix but it works and now I'm able to play the damn game...hopefully this helps someone
Edit.... I know a lot of people will disagree with this decision, but I disabled the firewall on my router and ever since then I've done a lot better in match making on gta v and black ops 2 ... I no longer lag out of bo2 and gta people can actually join me now

I can play online but once in a while my ps3 freezes or i get kicked out of the lobby when I force host even when I have open nat...

Well freezing is probably a ps3 issue...getting kicked when youre host is weird though, that shouldn't happen....have you tried disabling your router firewall? I found that's the only way I've been able to play this game (without forcing host) and when I AM host it increases everyone else's connection

Some more fixes are to forward your ports to BO2s servers you can go to this website to find out how to do that on your router: You must login or register to view this content.
also try using Googles DNS in your PS3 internet settings which is Primary 8.8.8.8 Secondary 8.8.4.4 i did both of those are i rarely get disconnected from lobbies
