Yeah, that was what I was thinking, just a region I think it has to do with DLC maps etc, I'm sure it won't effect it hopefully

i think there will be no problem with the maps take a look at mw3 when you buyed maps you can download they for all versions

ps3's arent region coded. i could play a jap game... if i new Japanese ...

If you plan to use a downloaded version of BO2 and DLC along with it, then match the version of the game you downloaded (at this point, BLES, so Europe) to the PS store with the appropriate version of the DLC (most likely UK). BLUS DLC will not work with BLES.
