I think they wont bann ppl with this glitch, they will patch only the glitch.

Dunno, I have actually seen quite a few people get banned recently.
I have also seen people get reset back to level 1 o_o Three of the kids in my friend Bens clan got reset back to 1st Prestige. They also lost Emblem Access O_O

No they didn't have derogatory // rude emblems the whole clan ran around with pikachus ~_~
