I think it depends on what they are reporting you like Hacking,Boost they will check if your being reported few times....

apparently i get reported atleast once or twice a game for having boobs in my emblem :S its a 18+ game if you get offended by that then you have serious problems! and its silly to be banned because of that.

if little kids moan about things like that when even play our adult games :/

ive been told ive been reported atleast once or twice every game ive played since a week after release when i made my emblem. ive not been banned from emblem creator or anything as of yet ...

I think it depends.. a friend of mine has been reported for camping (whole clans reported him as "cheating"), but needless to say he was never banned.
I guess if you're reported often enough they'll check the matches and your stats for proof.

Reporting is POINTLESS!! It doesn't work! They added so it felt like we had a voice but TreyArch still doesn't listen to our suggestions; especially if we are playing with a PRESTIGE MASTER GLITCHER that as a 3.47 KD and only 4 days played. WE are handing these easy "CHEATING" Reports and they still can't ban people or reset them. UNBELIEVEABLE!!!

I get reported a lot for "hacking" on the PC. I haven't been banned.
