But anyways i started to play PS3 now, but i want some mp and zombie mods for online and all that stuff.

Ok, what model is your ps3? Look under it, locate the bar code and look under it. If the number starts with CHECH300 or CHECH400 than it cannot be downgraded. Of course i'm just assuming it's not on the 3.55 firmware. If it is than your first step would be to jailbreak it. If its under CHECH300 than you can downgrade it with an E3 flasher. If it is jailbroken you have 2 options, cex or dex? Look into realtime modding to understand dex, You must login or register to view this content. this is what realtime editing is, its essentially hex editing the game by changing offsets. You must login or register to view this content. This is very helpful. There are almost endless tools to realtime edit. NOTE most of the time you cannot go online with dex. You can switch between cex and dex but it's risky. Dex is what most people use for BO2 now. Cex is standard custom firmware or "cfw" which does not have debug tools or the necessary items for realtime editing. Look for a tutorial on setting up that.This is for multiplayer, zombies and campaign. You can look around or other eboots aswell. Eboots are like and exe on a PC. Self files are whats packed inside the eboot. You must login or register to view this content. This is for OFW or non-jailbroken. As far as mods it's only for campaign (but the dvars reset after every level due to the way the games coded.) As I am stuck with OFW unfortunately there are not many tools for non-jailbroken consoles.

Haha it did take a bit to type and edit the post but I don't mind at all! I just like helping out and too answer your question once you downgrade and to 3.55 you will have to jailbreak it afterwards, try looking online for a step by step. Most cfws will either be a 3.55 cfw or an updated cfw such as Rogero. To access online you would need to go with something updated, such as Ex. "Rogero 4.XX cfw" and so on, also to install packages or .PKG files once you jailbreak there should be an install packages icon on your XMB or ps3 home screen. You load the .pkg onto just the root of your usb drive, insert it and install away! There are also some nifty pkgs that come with mods that are installed for offline and online portions of games and things. Pretty handy when you find them because they're just install and enjoy!
