Use PRODG MANAGER.conect manager and find in PRODG settings BOOT MODE-System Software Mode. reboot ps3 and be fine

find in youtube how to connect prodg,after u found settings for ps3 in prodg,and u see your ps3 now on debuging mode.mark on BOOT MODE-SYSTEM SOFTVARE MODE.i think u found are way,NOTHING WRONG WITH YOUR PS3.

You just have to hold your ps3 button to change your hdmi settings then it will come up with do you want to save changes just click yes and the screen will go away. It happens to me all the time so all you have to do is hold the ps3 button until it powers up then powers off then hold it again for 1 more beep then let it go and make sure you have your av cables and the hdmi
