Post: I keep getting banned from Black Ops 2

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); This started quite a while back, so I pretty much stopped playing Black Ops 2 & games released after that in the series. But, every time I set up an account & play this game, It'll let me play one, maybe 2 games, but a little while through a game, it freezes, reconnects and says 'The account *name here* has been permanently banned for violating the posted terms of service', or something along those lines...

This has happened on accounts where I *may* have used an RTE tool for my level & prestige, but it has also happened on accounts where I've kept the game 100% clean, even making sure to remove EBOOTs from the game's directory and such.

I thought perhaps it was a console ban, but doesn't it ban every new account as soon as it tries to play online & say this console has been banned, rather than just the account name?

It's not a huge issue for me as I can play it on an OFW console, but I like to be able to play a game without having to spend time levelling up. (I don't have enough free time.)

Also, kind of related to this question.. Will I have the same issue if I try to play Ghosts or AW? I modded ghosts in private games a bit when I first got the game at its release, but haven't played it since. And I haven't played AW online whatsoever. If the same thing could happen, is there a way to prevent it?

Thanks in advanced, guys.

Nope, I just assumed the anti-ban EBOOT was for RTEing. Would it be a good idea to use it even if I'm just playing normally?

Yes, even if you're playing normally on a CFW there's still always a chance of getting banned. Smile

Alright, thanks. I'm playing now & this is probably the longest I've gone without a ban, but I'll try out the EBOOT.
