Treyarch has always stumbled with connection and servers. That might play a part in this. Your internet might also be a problem. Try restarting your router.

If your hosting, it may because your internet may be slow, or it can cause some issues (restart would fix that). If your doing the lobbies on public, then you should just switch your lobbies to private that way it won't happen.
You can always sign out & sign back in, that helps as well.

Try when hosting menus to turn off all other devices and resetting your router.
