I'm making my own bo2 tool but I do have 1 problem.
if I type 'rankloop.start();'
it gives me an error that rankloop does not exist in the current context or something

Have you renamed the timer to rankloop?

When adding a timer it will be automatically have a default name of "timer1" with the correct timer number. If you scroll to the very top of the properties you will have the option to change the name of the timer. In your case you will need to change the name of it to "rankloop".
