Try changing the CCAPI of the tool. Maybe it's old one. Happened to me while back.

Try delete game data utility and reinstall the updates. Just remember after you will need to put on an EBOOT with anti ban once again. Make sure to let me know how it goes.

If u are running a antiban eboot the antiban on that tool automatically comes on it will freeze every time u attach it
