Have you tried using different EBOOTS or Menus? Make sure your PS3 Temperature is nice and cool. You don't want nothing overheating.

i have tried different menus same problem and the last time i used others eboots my hdd got messed up and my ps3 dosent freeze on any other game just bo2 as i sayes iv no idear what causes it when i have saw others modding it with no problems
