i think it depends where the videos going to save. If the will save onto the HDD of your ps3 then the game will lag as you can see in mw3 which has the same system of saving! If its like black ops where the videos save onto your Online storage which is located on the treyarch servers it might give you more smooth gameplay ! But im not sure hope you can disable it like on mw3 when your not happy with it
