Came upon it by accident and re-created the steps that lead to it and low and behold It worked after the 4th try of trying to get it to work again. Video is below enjoy!

I've scoured youtube for any videos with out of map for tranzit and found none that were like this one! So I'll call this the Tranzit Free Roam!!!!!!!!

I've had that happen to me numerous times. I find it annoying though because the game basically breaks and no longer works correctly. In some instances there is no fog and all doors become invisible. Other times Green Run becomes daytime with blue sky. (I guess the fog is what makes the map dark) There are no zombies and you can no longer interact with anything, just running and walking around with no weapon.

The blame for this glitch is Host Migration.

The cause of that glitch is host migration. I've encountered that a lot in public matches. Basically you lose the ability to interact with anything. There are no zombies and in some instances, there is no fog and you can freely explore everything basically. However there was this one time where green run turned into daytime. sky was blue and the map actually looked nice. I guess the fog is what makes the map look dark.
