When they reach the Dinner with the Bus in the Trailer it shows the 2 Bones
At the Dinner Part of the Trailer they show a little footage from the Dinner inside Which also shows you a Piece from the Shield its like they would want us to see it.
And in the other footage on Dinner they show us the Door from The Shield.


Then on Farm it shows us the Skull (not blue eyed)
and the first thing you see it the Torret.

Now in the Power room it shows the not blue eyed skull with a Knife behind it.
They still have the Shields but in the end of that Power room part you can see a blue energy lighting up maybe a sight for the Power thing you can build in that Room?

The next thing im not sure i understood it right.
They are fighting in the bus and for 2 secs it shows you a Zombie screaming with Blue Eyes which in my eyes is obviously the Blue eyed Emblem.

Now they go to the Town and it shows the 2 Shot Guns on the Emblem.
And in the end of the Video you can see the Girl shooting the Jet gun IN THE TOWN.


Im just wondering why would they put the Emblems in the Video if it hasnt to do something with the Ranking system?!

Maybe its easy like this :

To get the 2 Bones you need to Build the Riot Shield and fight some Zombies with it at the Dinner?

To get the Skull you need to build the Turret and Kill some zombies with it in the Farm?

To get the Knife you need to Build that Energy thing and blow some zombies up at the power room?

To get the Blue Eyes you need to Fight some zombies in the Bus?

To get the Shotguns you need to Build the Jet gun and kill some zombies with it in the Town?


But on the other side i got my knife behind the skull playing Survival on town....


I Have no time to check that so i thought i just post my thoughts and let you guys handle with this.

Your theory is already proven wrong.
I have made every item build-able in the game. (Turbine, Zombie Shield, Turret, Electric Trap, Jet Gun, Navcard Machine and found all pieces to the bus. All in one game several times even.)
When I had done all this. I did not get ranked up.
So this could not possibly be true.
Good find though with the emblems on the trailer.
But I am 100% sure that those have nothing to do with rank.

yeah i doupted it too but maybe it has really to do something with the areas?

like if you play more on town you chances to get that emblem is higher than the others???

dont know but i also dont understand why 3ary dont release the ranking system....

Yeah nice idea but it can't be true. I never use any of the assembled things but The Zombie Shield, and The Turbine. I have used the Jet Gun on occasion but never in a game I ranked up on.

My Ranking Progression.

1. I got up to Blue Eyes and a skull with 5 tick marks before, Thanksgiving.
   
2. I didn't play for 5 days and got Deranked to 2 Tick Marks no blue eyes.
   
3. When I ranked back up to Blue Eyes and 5 Ticks (from 4 ticks) It was a bad game and we only got to round 10. Nothing was assembled besides the turbine and maybe the shield.
   
4. I just got the knife skull in a game where I only got to round 19. (I have been to 32) Nothing was assembled besides the turbine and the shield.
