I don't think there's any mystery box glitches. I might be wrong but I dont think there's any what so ever.

Only thing i can tell you is look at the question marks on the top of the box and when they are the bightest gold hit square if you see the box lag a little you did it right and you get a better chance at lmgs, and raygun.
