(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Ok, this has been bugging me for AGES! I've been stuck on a skull for ages now, so many different theories about KDR (Kill Down Ratio), and every "mission" I've finally obtained for the bowie knife haven't come true so far.

Since my downs are so high, it's taken me a long time to bump my ratio up (no I'm not crap at zombies, I tested the so called permanent jugg before the recent update where they actually put it in, so in 1 game of 2 player Tranzit I went down 100 times at each bus stop; depot, diner, farm, power and town. In one game.....) anyway enough about my tear jerking story.

So from what I read I've had to aim for the last missions which is if you have over X amount of kills, you need a KDR of ____. So you had to get a KDR from as low as I've heard from 60 all the way to 100. I always thought that was vague, I mean surely it would be a set number rather than in between number X to number Y?

But I rounded up my kills to an easy number last night, I'm on 100,000 kills to 920 downs, according to my calculations, I should been on a KDR of: 108.6 so over halfway to 109, and yet I still lack the rank up.

So I have met the requirements for the Bowie knife and still haven't obtained it, what I'm planning to do is, dunno why, do custom survival game on town and round the KDR to 110, but I'm gonna do solo Tranzit today and try and get to round 50 and higher.

I just want to know if anyone else has had similar experiences with both KDR (and I'm hoping, rounds), I'm going to assume it's rounds, because before the round skipping glitch was patched, those that did it and glitched to rounds 200+, were getting shotgun ranks.

I've been on bowie now for 4 days, I'm hoping that maybe it's like the tally sytem.
So play 5 days in a row you get max tallies, maybe ranking up could be the same, if you meet the requirements for a rank up (be it KDR, rounds or whatever it maybe), if your already at that stage, maybe after the 5th day you get the rank?

I know it's like shooting in the dark, but as soon as I get my shotguns, I will write and post my stats straight away before I play another game and also tell you what round I got to in that game.

My kills to downs (or deaths if people still think that's the ratio), is way above the 200 mark that people believe is the ratio needed for shotguns, like I said if it's like tallies, then I should rank up regardless, if I get to a high round then it will be that.
If it's none of these things then another stat of mine must of reached a point of accomplishment to warrent my rank.

I know I won't be able to specify what really is needed for your rank up, but it can't just be KDR, it could be a combination of all your stats, rounds or all of them.

Hell there could be ratios of other stats too, like headshots to bullets fired etc, this'll be fun figuring it all out..... >.>

idk it might be kdr- kill to down ratio.

i think everything kill related (headshots, simple kills, grenade kills etc) plays a role for ranking up idk...
i got my shotguns with a 160 k/d, but this doesnt mean that it has to be the same for everyone...

You seem to really want the shotgun emblem, have you considered trying the duplication glitch with a friend. (or you could use a 48 hour, get it to the max zombie rank and then do the duplication glitch that way)

This is just from my experience and confirmation by various other people on CoDz forum;

To rank up get 200k/d by the time you get 5 strikes BUT before you hit 20k kills. This is what gave me and many others the final push to get to Skulls with shotguns. It was also confirmed if you get a 100k/d after you get 10k kills you could do the same.

Some say it's KD and some say it's rounds. My theory is it's a combination of everything except downs & deaths obviously

Ok just literally got my shot guns now, we got to round 21 die rise 4 player, here are my stats:

Kills: 29,820 Shots Fired: 57,851 Downs: 88
Revives: 163 Grenade Kills: 1663 Headshots: 5043
Deaths: 54 GIBS: 34,294 Perks: 248
Doors: 211 Accuracy: 0.85 Distance Travelled: 140

Is the ranking system just based how much you play in a short time
