(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Ok, this has been bugging me for AGES! I've been stuck on a skull for ages now, so many different theories about KDR (Kill Down Ratio), and every "mission" I've finally obtained for the bowie knife haven't come true so far.

Since my downs are so high, it's taken me a long time to bump my ratio up (no I'm not crap at zombies, I tested the so called permanent jugg before the recent update where they actually put it in, so in 1 game of 2 player Tranzit I went down 100 times at each bus stop; depot, diner, farm, power and town. In one game.....) anyway enough about my tear jerking story.

So from what I read I've had to aim for the last missions which is if you have over X amount of kills, you need a KDR of ____. So you had to get a KDR from as low as I've heard from 60 all the way to 100. I always thought that was vague, I mean surely it would be a set number rather than in between number X to number Y?

But I rounded up my kills to an easy number last night, I'm on 100,000 kills to 920 downs, according to my calculations, I should been on a KDR of: 108.6 so over halfway to 109, and yet I still lack the rank up.

So I have met the requirements for the Bowie knife and still haven't obtained it, what I'm planning to do is, dunno why, do custom survival game on town and round the KDR to 110, but I'm gonna do solo Tranzit today and try and get to round 50 and higher.

I just want to know if anyone else has had similar experiences with both KDR (and I'm hoping, rounds), I'm going to assume it's rounds, because before the round skipping glitch was patched, those that did it and glitched to rounds 200+, were getting shotgun ranks.

im on skull+knife now with about 40k kills to 164 deaths and thought it must depend on rounds so i did 40 rounds solo on tranzit few times, nothing changed. my buddy did 50 rounds tranzit solo and hes on skull+knife aswell. i still dunno what it takes to rank up -.-

I've just set myself up for a long session on solo tranzit, got mustang n sally, ray gun pack a punched, my perks, jet gun etc etc on round 1 I probably won't get past round 50, but my kills will take me above a 110 KDR.

Isn't it your deaths not downs that count for your kill/DEATH ratio? And I have all better stats than my friend, 2000 more kills than him but he has 1/3 my deaths and has skull&knife while I got skull emblem. I think it's the K/D.

My deaths are at 390, just finished a solo of tranzit, unfortunately only got to round 46, my kills are 103,441 my downs are 924.

So if I did KDR with Downs, my ratio would be: 111.9

If using deaths it would be: 265.2

So regardless of what stat you throw into it out of the 2, I'm above 100 ratio on each, therefore the rank has got to based on rounds not stats, I failed to get to round 50, I'm going to have to try again >.>

Not sure if this has happened to anyone else but I finally got my knife the other day then the new maps came out and I played a few games on der riese solo. I was just learning the map so I went down on like round 5 one game round 4 on another and a few other games that went the same. I then lost my knife. I never thought you can lose your knife. I know a kid who has shotguns and never plays zombies anymore and he still has them. I just don't get it.

Unfortunately this is true, play badly several times in a row you can lose your rank entirely, also the tally marks are based on consistency played, but you can lose your tally (and even your rank supposedly,) the longer you don't play.

The reason why that guy hasn't lost his rank is that its hard to de-rank from not playing, it's alot slower than do badly consistently, also a high rank like that means it'll take even longer since he's the highest rank atm.

its downs, i have gotten shotguns on 3 different accounts, there is a setpoint for each emblem, if you dont reach that setpoint you will have to go the second path to that emblem which will be a more lengthy and slow rank up, but to sum up kd in zombies is kills to downs, my kd is a 196, and i have shotguns, i first got the shotguns at a 165 kd on all 3 accounts...

hmm if thats true i need to kill 14370 zombies without getting downed
