i found 2 ways of doing this, the trample steam method doesn't need to be in the elevator shaft.

No need to destroy after putting the trample down bro, you can pick it up when the elevator stops. Definately useful to know for getting round DR quick

sometimes the trample steam is too high to grab, also you cant grab one mid air.
