I think it's because it resets all your EEs after you do that.

i would asume if it was put in the game like that ,thats what your sopposed to do?also maybe were sopposed to do say all maxis then hit the lights then do ricktofens?

i heard its for xbox so u can reset ur egg progress and do the other side
