However when i sign into psn, the game freezes on 'Loading Player Profile' Could this be anything to do with the account i am using? or is it to do with the modded Eboot? help please

There seems to be a lot of questions and not vary many answers around bo3 sorry I don't know the answer but I do know how you can get a definite answer to your question.
1. Make new account
If that don't work
2. Give a try with an original eboot.
If it works with the new original eboot then you know for.sure if it was that.
I've been trying since first leaked with no luck . I even bought the disc when released and.still haven't been able.to play a single match .

Make sure you're on 4.70+ CFW and try rebuilding database
