Just update to 1.07 and then install a antiban eboot or use a tool.

Then spoof cid and stuff as usual and you should be alright.

I dont mod BO3 though but thats what i've done to do recoveries.

Also, make sure to quote the user to know that you've responded to 'em (i quoted him for you anyway)
Now, try to install the game update manually, find the update package on the internet, put it on a USB, and install it from package installer (in the XMB)
