I see many members coming into the SB asking how to install Black Ops 3 onto their PS3. This tutorial will show you how to do so, step by step.

The linking of warez (Description above) Is forbidden on NextGenUpdate. You can find this information elsewhere on the web. Once you have obtained the files however, you can follow the rest of this guide without issue.




- Make sure you are direct connected to you PS3. You can find a tutorial on how to do so here: https://www.nextgenupdate.com/forums/ps3-cheats-customization/861799-best-way-transfer-large-files-ps3-games-etc.html
- The files downloaded (Should Include the Game, Update, and "Fix") Please note that the current leaked version does not include campaign mode.
- A little bit of time


In order to transfer the files correctly you must transfer files to "dev_hdd0/packages/" on your PS3. The order you transfer them does not matter however if you transfer in the same order, you can install the first file, while the others are transferring.

The installation of the files is the important part. You first want to install the game file (4.4 GB or so)

I put the files in the packages folder but the packages wont show up. I have a 64GB USB and transffered the three files to the USB but it says i cant transfer the actual game. It's only 4.4 GB. It doesn't make sense. Any help?
BTW can I do this on PS3ITA COBRA 4.65 DEX V1.0.2?

when i launch bo3 i get "the system software cannot be run correctly. Press the PS button to try to restart the system. If the system cannot be restarted, you must reinstall the system software. connect storage media that contains update data of version 2.70 or later, and then press START and SELECT buttons at the same time. FOr informations on how to obtain update data, refer to the SCE website for your region" but my ps3 is fine on other games ver 7.75.1 rebug

Im on ita 4.50. Can I just go straight to ita 4.65 cobra or should I go to rebug 4.75? BTW since both CFW's are higher than 4.50 can I just upgrade straight to them or do I need to use the 3.55 downgrader?
