All you gotta to do when you leave the game is prestige and after you prestige, sign out and sign back in and prestige again. After you do that, you will keep your level.

When you are in a lobby with a host that doesn't want to back out, what I have found to be the most effective thing to do is spam him with messages saying "BACK OUT."
If that doesn't do anything well then you're going to have to back out and hope to join a different lobby
