They're no way near as good as the maps in previous cod games. I mean on WaW there were plenty of memorable maps like Castle, Cliffside, Outskirts, Seelowand and Upheval. Likewise on cod4 for instance Ambush, Crossfire, Downpour, Overgrown, Pipeline, Strike and Crash. What the fuck went wrong, no seriously and I'm not buying DLC for BO either because fuck DLC the original game should at least have one decent level and I shouldn't have to pay extra for decent content.

Well Nuketown is good... Firing Range, Summit, Fairly sure Jungle is good. But if you don't want to buy DLC for a two year old game you can always gameshare.

Summit, maybe but Jungle is shit, Nuketown is just as bad as Shipment and Dome were and Firing range is a horrible map too.

True but all of the dlc maps were just bland other than Stadium/Zombies.

I played this game for about 2 years. Maps like firing range, jungle, and summit are all good maps. You just have to know the advantage points, when to rush or when not to rush. Now-a-days, on some maps like jungle, people rarely go through the middle of the map, which is an easy way to flank the enemy. Now the DLC I could care less for...

The maps are all boring though and give no advantage to specific types of play, on cod4 you had a good mixture of large maps and small with a variety of landscapes that benefited different play styles. Crossfire and overgrown were great for sniping, wetwork and vacant were great for close quarters and pipeline crash and strike all had good mixture. On BO you have nothing anywhere near that good.

Take jungle for instance I find myself just walking in circles around the outside of the map to kill people same on WMD, same on Summit. I'm also embarrassed to say I've sunk near 7 or 8 days of accumulated play time on this game and made 7th prestige but it's just shit.

i like all of them black ops was my first call of duty and i had 16 days played so i knew the maps really well.

most of the maps on every cod are shit, get over it

bo1 have the best maps for gaming..maybe they looks old and ugly but the maps are making for matchmaking..not important for visual..only for gaming and rushing..not like mw3 and bo2..they are games for nuubs..many camper points and not rush points..bo1 is the best cod for real pros..
